Investment Committee

All investment decisions are governed by our Investment Committee, which meets regularly to review asset allocation, fund selection, and portfolio risk parameters.

Risk Management

We maintain a robust risk management framework that monitors portfolio exposures, counterparty risk, and compliance with regulatory requirements on an ongoing basis.

Compliance Monitoring

Our compliance function ensures adherence to FSCA regulations, the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS), and internal policies.

Conflict of Interest Management

We maintain a conflict of interest management policy to identify, manage, and where possible avoid conflicts that may arise in the course of our business.

Complaints Procedure

We take all complaints seriously and are committed to resolving them fairly and promptly. If you have a complaint about any aspect of our services, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us directly — Email partners@starip.co.za or call +27 861 777 574 (Option 6) with details of your complaint.
  2. Acknowledgement — We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 business days.
  3. Investigation & Resolution — We aim to resolve all complaints within 15 business days. Complex matters may take longer, and we will keep you informed of progress.
  4. FAIS Ombud — If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the FAIS Ombud.
